LKA Chartered Accountants was looking to switch away from its IRIS desktop software for several reasons.

Josh Cox, Director of Operations, Accounting and Finance, cited “high or rising costs” and “lack of development in the software.” He also recalled there was ‘frustration’ due to the user interfaces being difficult to use.

The lack of integration between systems and “outdated” user experience were also complaints among the team. On top of that they needed to move to a more flexible, cloud-based solution. Having looked at the software available, they opted for TaxCalc.
